It all started in 1997 when our founder, Mark Oblack, was playing fetch with his dog Duncan at the park. Mark got tired of having to constantly pick up a slimy, wet tennis ball, so he decided to create a ball launcher that could throw balls much farther. With some scrap plastic pipe and ingenuity, Mark invented the very first Chuckit!® ball launcher.
Word spread quickly about this revolutionary fetch toy, and people asked Mark where they could buy one. Seeing the demand, Mark patented his design and officially founded Chuck It® Toys in 1998. The Chuckit!® ball launcher was an instant hit, allowing people to throw tennis balls over 3 times farther so dogs could run farther and faster.

Our ultra-durable Chuckit! balls have a minimal amount of bounce but maximum spring so they can roll and skid unpredictably to mimic small fleeing prey. The lightweight plastic and rubber materials are easy to grip and throw over 200+ feet!
For canines who love to leap and catch, our Chuckit! Flyer discs glide smoothly and offer long-range flight patterns. We’ve perfected the thin, flexible plastic to be gentle on dogs’ mouths but strong enough for aggressive chompers.
And no dog will be able to resist chasing our Chuckit! Fuzzballs. Their long, frayed ropes and tennis ball cores take irregular hops along the ground. The chenille fabric resists shredding and has a satisfying texture when gripped.
